Alissa R. Jones, Founder and Director of Survivors With Voices and Survivors With Voices Publishing, is an Author, Motivational Speaker, and Woman of God; but most of all she is a survivor. The Survivors with Voices Foundation is a non-profit (501c3) organization benefiting men and women who have suffered mental and physical abuse. When asked about the mission and purpose of Survivors With Voices, Alissa says ” It is our mission to help women embrace these seen and unseen scars, find a voice, and heal. With hopes of inspiring and motivating one another. We not only provide a platform for those abused to commune, we provide an outlet in which their voices may be heard; through written and spoken communication. There is a life after abuse. We may be used and abused, but never used up.”
The Survivors With Voices Foundation allows individuals to share their stories to heal their pain. Survivors With Voices Publishing is just another extension of giving survivors another platform to restore and help someone else with their transition of healing. Alissa has authored several books, “Just Call Me Uncle Roger,” A Wolf In Sheeps Clothing and her latest release, “The Stones that Built me Strong,” Turning Hurtful Stones from Your Past to Stepping Stones for Success.
In 2014, Alissa launched Voice Your Invisible Wounds Conference where she and her team created a vision of the conference to help individuals that have experienced abuse, to live a life of fullness, by overcoming their struggles of the past hurts.
